MEDIEVAL PEASANT'S LIFE ...
Peasant life was the opposite to wealthy having grown up in a germ, unhealthy environment and having not the best diet. Many children died from the lack of nutrition at young ages and often being buried in their backyard. Having born into a poor family you would have had litte clothing of undyed linen and have bathed once a year. Being the middle ages fact on hygiene was low. It was unlikely to work yourself out of your class and most likely being their your whole life. So in order to eat and have shelter long hours of work was on the list. Many peasants worked as farmers on the Lords land and others as tradesmen such as millers, craftsmen, serfs, servants etc. Very few knew how to read for no education was provided, no school and no tutors. Food wise a peasants diet consisted of bread, porriage, vegetables and some meat. But just like if they didn't work, you didn't eat but if their crops didn't grow they didn't eat either. Being a peasant had so many down falls it wasn't funny. Even when it was too wet or too dry some might die for their crops didn't grow too.
